The Abyssinian Baptist Church in the City of New York Releases 200th Anniversary Music CD
The Abyssinian Baptist Church in the City of New York will release its first music CD, "ONE LOOK AT JESUS," Sunday, June 7. The featured Abyssinian Concert Chorale will perform excerpts from the CD during the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship services at the church, in Harlem, 132 Odell Clark Place (formerly West 138th Street).
Redemption Boulevard is Focusing Their Efforts to Develop High School Church Bands
Redemption Boulevard, a nonprofit Christian ministry based out of Saint Paul/Minneapolis area in Minnesota, is seeking to work with high school church bands. There is a tremendous need in small churches to get kids involved in church life. However, with limited budgets, many churches can't afford to pay someone to be on staff. This leaves many high school church bands, also called worship teams, without proper guidance on how to grow their skills.
